The places we connect to represent continuity and can instil a deep sense of belonging. These places can also be a place of mystery, where history and tradition connect with the mythical and cultural associations that are found in the familiar landscapes of fields and water, heath and woodland.
The breadth and depth of the work in this exhibition reflect each participant 'take' on the themes running through the course as you connect to your own practice and develop your skills and ownership over the process.
There is much about the world that is hidden from our view or is seen as too trivial to be deserving of our attention. In sharing your work on this course, you have not just shared your creativity; you have shared 'your world. For that, I am grateful.
