“From Elements to Archetypes” refers to the elements of design and the archetypal structures of image composition. The artists who studied my course were invited to explore their favourite aspects of abstract composition which are presented in this collection of Mixed Media Art. As we leaf through these pages and images we are vividly reminded that every design element and principle also has an emotional resonance and carries the beautiful possibility to express personal meaning.
